Two Ingredient Doughnuts

Ingredients list

  • 1 cup of Greek yoghurt
  • 1 ½ cups self raising flour

Extra ingredients

  • Grapeseed oil, for frying
  • Cinnamon sugar: combine ¼ cup of caster sugar with 1 tbsp of cinnamon

Method

  • In a bowl, gently mix the yoghurt and self-raising flour until they come together.
  • Turn the dough out onto a floured surface. Flour your hands and knead until the dough is soft and just combined. Avoid overworking it!
  • Portion the dough into golf ball-sized pieces.
  • Deep fry the dough balls at around 180°C (or slightly higher) for 3-4 minutes until golden.
  • To serve, roll the doughnuts in cinnamon sugar.
Notes
  • Use neutral oils for frying like vegetable, canola, or grapeseed
  • The cinnamon sugar is optional but highly recommended!
