Method
- Prepare the Peperonata:Heat olive oil in a pan and fry two unpeeled garlic cloves until aromatic. Add sliced colorful peppers to the pan, seasoning with salt, pepper, and mixed herbs. Cook until the peppers are soft and slightly charred.
- Toast the Bread: Slice your bread and toast it in a pan with a generous splash of olive oil until golden and crisp.
- Assemble the toast: Place the toasted bread on a serving platter. Layer the canapés by starting with the spread, followed by the toppings, and finishing with herbs or glaze.
