Mediterranean Protein Wrap

Ingredients list

  • 100g minced beef
  • Pinch of Mediterranean rub seasoning
  • Pinch of chilli flakes
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • ¼ cup chopped fresh parsley
  • ¼ cup crumbled feta
  • 2 flatbreads or wraps
To Dress:
  • Sliced fresh tomatoes
  • Lettuce mix
  • Chopped red olives
  • Pickles (I'm using pickled capsicum)
  • Tzatziki or taramasalata

Method

  • In a bowl, combine minced beef with Mediterranean seasoning, chilli flakes, salt, pepper, and chopped parsley. Mix well.
  • Heat a pan over medium heat and cook the seasoned beef until browned and cooked through, about 5–7 minutes.
  • Stir through the crumbled feta just before removing from heat.
  • Warm your flatbreads slightly, either in a pan or microwave.
  • Assemble your wraps : spoon the beef mixture onto each flatbread and top with lettuce, tomato slices, olives, pickles, and a generous dollop of tzatziki or taramasalata.
  • Wrap it up and enjoy immediately!

To Serve

Enjoy hot with a squeeze of extra lemon and crusty bread on the side.

Notes; This soup is packed with immune-boosting goodness. A splash of apple cider vinegar helps draw nutrients from the chicken bones.
