Ingredients list
- Store-bought panettone
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 shot Baileys Irish Cream
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Jarred cherries, drained
- Icing sugar, for dusting
- Optional garnish: chocolate Christmas tree or other festive decoration
Method
- Slice the panettone horizontally into three even layers.
- In a bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form. Gently fold in the Baileys and vanilla extract until combined.
- Spread the whipped cream mixture generously on the bottom layer of panettone.
- Top with a handful of jarred cherries.
- Repeat with the second layer: spread cream and add cherries.
- Place the top layer of panettone on to rebuild the loaf.
- Dust the entire assembled panettone with icing sugar.
- Garnish with your choice of decoration, such as a chocolate Christmas tree.
